Standing by the whiteboard, Sheldon enthusiastically explains string theory to Penny on the sofa, saying fundamental 3D particles are actually strings in multi-dimensional spacetime. Penny barely understands the complex physics and just replies casually "Interesting." Penny thinks they’ve solved the decades-long puzzle of string theory with their casual chat, picturing strings as straight lines, loops and knots. Sheldon corrects her that knots cannot exist beyond four dimensions, and suggests topological branes as a workaround, with Penny bragging she came up with this idea in just one minute. The irony being she wanted to get away from Amy and Leonard bonding over science and she ended up helping Sheldon solve String Theory. 😂😂😂😂
Penny solved string theory. She didn't even finish Community College. Checkmate, all of you theoretical physicists...
The thing is, it often also helps when you actually explain shit to people who have no clue what you're working on, sometimes you have to go back to basics or even a fresh pair of eyes.
I remember from an old Sherlock Holmes book where Watson got pissed Holmes was always putting him down for always being wrong. Holmes explained how important how Watson having the wrong answer answers helped Holmes come up with the correct one.
The most complicated science that even experts don’t understand
TBBT writers are so good. To think it was Penny that eventually gave the insights that solved String Theory.
Im an early years uni student and i realised that when i yap on about stuff to my friends in simple language, i know more than i realised lol
I recently realized the reason Sheldon knocks multiple times is because he caught his parents doing it when he was a kid and he only knocked once
Penny, copying Sheldon's knock: "Oh, that's kinda fun actually." Penny, using a position of superiority to impress and condescend to her friend: "Oh, that's kinda fun actually." I think y'all were right. Sheldon doesn't have autism. Autism isnt contagious.
I like how I actually understand what their talking about
This reminds me of using rubber ducks to explain stuff to when you learn to code. Penny is his duck 😂
Stupid people quite often poses simplicity in their mind and can definitely answer smart questions. Smart people can only imagine smart answers to smart questions.
People always bag on penny for not being in the college and working low wage. But I feel like penny did go to the same college Sheldon did, but then life hit hard, and she needed to leave to live. And chose happiness over exploared intelligence
This reminded me of that fresh pair of eyes youtuber helped elon musk with his rockets.
Giving credit to penny but not sheldon is how corruption works :)
Sheldon didn't think explaining it to Penny was ridiculous. But Leonard thought it was.
Thankfully for Sheldon, Penny has a theoretical degree in physics
did anyone else see that you could tell Sheldons actor broke character by accident for a second but it was still in the show 😂😂 atleast i think lol when she said they solved it he said Oh and like mumbled girl but laughed soon after and the laugh track played like to cover it up 😂
Amy's mind was just blown 😅🤯😂
penny did not solve string theory she made a genius think up the solution by listing random things abt strings
