Truck Parts Become Buses 🚌

Autos and Vehicles

Original video credit: IG/@rosendoruiz5148. In Argentina, many buses were historically built by converting old trucks. Workshops would take truck chassis, engines, and gearboxes, then add a custom passenger body on top to create a bus. This was mostly done to save money and make use of available vehicles. Truck platforms were strong and already designed to carry heavy loads, which made them a practical base for passenger transport. Because of these conversions, the driving setup was not always standard. Gear levers and linkages were often modified or extended, which could result in unusual or less intuitive shifting positions.
