Mat’s teamed up with Porsche over in America, and he’s about to race the most powerful Porsche production car (the Cayenne Turbo Electric) against one of the largest planes in the world - the Stratolaunch Roc! There’ll be a series of two races - one against the plane as it takes off, and another as it lands! This race is fraught with danger, as this plane is absolutely massive, and any wrong move could be disastrous! So let’s check out the two contenders. The Stratolaunch Roc has the largest wingspan of any plane in the world, at 117 metres - longer than an American football field! It’s powered by six engines from a Boeing 747, weighs over 220 tonnes, and has a top speed of 460 knots (530mph)! As for the Cayenne Turbo Electric, it’s powered by dual electric motors, and these combine to produce 1,139hp and 1,500Nm. As for the weight, it tips the scales at 2,645kg.
