Our motorhome Elvis went in for its annual habitation check and we were seriously nervous about the results. Damp checks, warranty inspections, air con problems and a very stressful wait later… things took a completely unexpected turn. In this vlog we repair damage from our Cornwall trip, clean and empty the van ready for inspection, look around newer motorhomes while we wait, and deal with a growing problem with the air conditioning system. We also upgrade Elvis with new security deadlocks, fit anti-theft plates, replace furniture at the lodge and start preparing for another UK motorhome road trip. Plus we begin getting ready for another 8 day adventure in Elvis around the UK. How long does the warranty last? And how much does it cost them to fix a damp problem normally? The £300 inspection every year feels like you’re being taken for a ride. It’s hardly a free repair if you’re paying thousands just to inspect it over the course of the vehicle’s life. More like a £300 a year insurance policy just for damp.

My dad did fibreglass repair on a bit of our van. You couldn’t see the damage after.
Absolutely love your vlogs.. You’re both such a gorgeous couple.. Anyway was looking at what you was using for your windows. I use Vuplex,that’s really good at sorting them out. No a/c in an RV-- no thanks.
Don't forget to leave your fridge open a bit, unless your going to use it. Just helps the air to circulate, and stops mould building up. Great vlog guys 👍🏻

Thank you for your vlogs really enjoy them. We got a van and absolutely love it and you have given us some great ideas Thank you x We had a sulphur smell on our first trip away and it was our leisure battery overheated and needed replacing so just keep eye on that quite common x
. Love the Yorkshire Dales Also Hereford is lovely, going towards the Welsh Borders, as are Suffolk and Norfolk. Sleepy villages as well as the cigies but not as commercialised as the Cotswolds also. Thanks for sharing. Some of Wales and Anglesey takes some beating.
