I don't know where she grew up but certainly where i grew in Soweto, there were technical colleges and the trainers were white, George Tabor, Jabulani, Tladi, Dobsonville colleges etc, producing well trained artisans in carpentry, plumbing, bricklaying. I attended high school at the time when Form 3 (Grade 10) was an external exam and guys who did not do well were encouraged to register at technical colleges. When housing developments started in places like Pimville (Selection Park), Protea North, Diepkloof Ext, Dobsonville Ext became huge opportunities for guys with technical skills. Artisans were highly sought after at that time by companies, engineering companies were involved in recruitment and training, two of my former classmates quit their studies at university to pursue careers in boilermaking, companies were paying stipends while undergoing training. Her party destroyed everything that worked replaced with nothing, teachers, nursing colleges, all destroyed ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ
