This movie left me thinking long after it ended. What stood out wasn't whether Ollie became a priest or chose love, it was how many people quietly confuse faith with fear. Ollie wasn't serving God from a place of freedom; he was trying to repay a miracle, almost as if God's love had to be earned. That's a burden a lot of people carry without realizing it. I also appreciated that Malani wasn't written as the stereotypical "unbeliever." She asked difficult questions, challenged Ollie's worldview, and in many ways became part of his journey toward a healthier understanding of both faith and himself. Sometimes the people who question us aren't trying to destroy our beliefs, they're helping us examine why we hold them. The most heartbreaking moment for me was when Ollie blamed Malani after his mother's death. Grief has a way of making us search for someone to hold responsible, even when the real battle is happening within us. Thankfully, the movie didn't end there. It showed that healing begins when we stop seeing God as someone who keeps score and start accepting grace instead of living under guilt. Beautiful storytelling with a message that reaches far beyond romance.

She spent her entire life believing that God hated her, but falling in love with a man devoted to God forced her to question everything she believed. faith cannot always be forced or explained—it can sometimes begin with a simple desire to understand what someone else believes. The first time I saw Timini, he was Bolaji’s love interest, she was older and a career woman. Now I am seeing them together again after so many years.

There are a quite a number of things that stood out to me in this movie. 1. Malani loved the Lord, she didn’t just know it yet. So those people in your life, community or organization that seem to be unbelievers? Extend Grace towards them… just maybe you showing them the love of Christ in human form would eventually capture their hearts… The moment she asked to pray with Oli? The spirit of God was truly brooding over her because after that moment, her way of lifestyle and path changed so beautifully and cleanly 2. Oli didn’t shove his beliefs down Malani’s throat… Neither did he separate himself from her because she didn’t share the same faith or moral values as him… He still allowed her into his home, went to her home and spent time with her… Expressing your faith in God doesn’t mean you have to stigmatize those who are currently weak or absent in faith. Even Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well and took water from her. 3. God is not a wicked God and our salvation isn’t as a result of works… So we have quite a number of Oli’s in the faith who think God will punish them for making mistakes or something! No! That’s why Christ came and to live is Jesus, to die as a believer is gain (to eternal life). 4. While trying not to stigmatize those who are still weak or absent in the faith, we also need to tread carefully. The Bible says “let he who thinks he stands take heed so he doesn’t fall” In all.
