(assuming it's a TH400) I'd be looking at the hose on the internal dump valve, it'll be close to the direct drum. If it's a bolt together drum the tips of the bolts will rub a hole in the hose and mimic the dump being on all the time.
Honestly, watching you guys troubleshoot this car is the kind of shit I love to watch. The racing is fun, but THIS is content I learn stuff from. I really appreciated that suspension demonstration.
