The commodore was killed by General Motors in America, the Falcon was killed by Ford America. Ford America tried to kill off the Aussie Falcon multiple times.
All are cool but Holden's and Falcon were special

As an Australian I can ruddy guarantee you we were PISSED when we stopped making cars cos some of them were absolutely NUTS
Its already getting difficult to get certain parts and good examples for both holden and ford
The charger had a 265 six cylinder and the orange one was a e49 r/t with nearly 300hp

My mate Martin had a 340 e55 charger, Bathurst model manual... bloody thing was a beast....handled like a go-cart.
I worked at Holden IEngineering at the time of the “coupe 60” it was a marketing exercise done by design nothing more

Australian politicians put bans on anything that is a benefit to real people. Because they failed at life they think everyone should be dragged down to their level .
The nation didnt decide , it was the politians not the people , as usual the governments are not for the people

1970's was the best time for both cars and motorcycles...i now feel privileged to have been a teenager in that era
