If you ever finds yourself in this situation and you know for a fact you sucked in water, pull out the spark plugs and crank the engine over. With the compression stroke it should get most of the water out of the cylinders and you might be able to drive your sh**box home or somewhere manageable for the tow truck to haul it away.
