Long before he became a Hollywood action star, Jason Statham was an elite competitive diver. While training at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London, his athletic physique caught the eye of a sports modeling agency. That led to a modeling campaign for the clothing brand French Connection, which eventually put him on the radar of director Guy Ritchie, who cast Statham in his breakout role in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998).
At least Jason could have pulled of that dive for real if he had too!!!

Before acting Statham was a professional diver. I would not be surprised if he could pull off a dive like that. If it was just a concrete platform, no doubt about it.
He went off the Starboard side - not off the port side at all.
