There is a reason younger generations have so many mental health problems when they didnโ€™t used to have nearly as many back in the day. Iโ€™m worried about what will happen to a lot of countries once the older generations start dying off ๐Ÿ˜”

My old man had a rough life. Growing up he told me the stories of him having to walk 2 hours away to chop wood to sell(mind you he was raised in mexico in the 60s and 70s before propane was convenient) and how he had to hunt whatever he can to survive. He crossed the border so I could have a better life, and i did. Most grateful for him to come to a country without money, family or knowing the language. He's had a tough life and I know he's had, which is why i try my best to help him out as much as i can. He told me once, I only came to this country to build a better life for my family and once all of us were born for you guys. He's been my role model and still is. Matter fact i work with him side by side at work. He truly is my best friend since I spend more time with him than my own friends ๐Ÿ˜‚

Burning them off could cause them to be more likely to regurgitate what blood they took from you back into your bloodstream which also could carry Lyme disease

Grandpa is right. People raise their kids soft as Charmin and wonder why they get their ass kicked by the real world

I mean, I feel like it's a combo of both. You have to be hard on your kids at some points, but then you also need to know when to be soft and kind with them. But it's just a balance.

burning a tick scares it into releasing more saliva into the bite area, increasing risk of lyme (i live where the black-legged tick is most common) or other tick-borne diseases. fine tip tweezers, grab the whole body firmly and pull in one steady, slow motion from the direction it entered, then immediately call your doctor

If that was my kid, I'd sell him.

People when Axl frequently bullies his siblings, hogs his parents attention, acts like a jerk, shows his parents zero respect, expects the entire family to revolve around him, and rarely faces consequences for his actions: ๐Ÿ™‚ People when Brick is quiet, keeps to himself, gets frequently neglected, and gets overwhelmed: ๐Ÿคฌ Mike when he stands up for Brick one time: why is this man sheltering his son?

Our responsibility as parents isn't to be like our parents, it's to be better

Lmao such a good depiction of an old blue collar guy. It's not his place to tell you how to raise your kids, but he'll still judge you for it. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Never burn a tick off of someone it will make it more difficult to insure that you got the whole tick off of your body
