You've reached the end
Imagine trekking through the desert and coming across a ship.
of the many versions of hell, there's something beautiful and terrifying about hostile desert meeting the ocean.
It also home to the longest living flowering plants the welwitcha. As a Namibian 🇳🇦 I'm proud of this the oldest desert in the world.
There’s also foggy deserts in Peru and Chile where the cold Humboldt current hits the hot Acatama desert
Top quality video, thank you for the information!
Definitely a bucket list place to visit personally
The Grand Tour special of this place was really good.
It’s also a shockingly gorgeous landscape!!
The most recent confirmed shipwreck on Namibia’s Skeleton Coast was the fishing trawler Zeila, which ran aground on 24 August 2008 near Walvis Bay while en route to the Mumbai scrapyard
Just about one of the most remote spots on Earth.
My friend bicycled in rural Namibia; said that the scenery was magical. Looks like it to me to, from here.
There used to be Lions in Anatolia and Mesopotamia too. But they sadly were hunted to extinction
Fantastic video 😊
It is so rare to come across a short that I actually like. This was seriously a well made video and I learned something. Thank you.
There's something so beautiful and dreamlike about desert meeting the ocean. The Skeleton Coast has been one of my favorite landscapes because of that. Hope I can get there one day.
My boss is from Walvis Bay north of the desert. Hes always got cool things to say about the skeleton coast
I can't believe this is a short it's too good. Full vid at any point?
The skeleton coast also has some incredible waves for surfing. The sand bottom and winds off the desert can produce some amazing barrels.
I believe they found a random shipwreck on the coast of Namibia that had millions in gold that sat there for centuries
I remember that there's an episode of a TV series 'The Grand Tour' or maybe it was the original 'Top Gear', where the guys are in Namibia and they journey across this landscape.. while trying to avoid the incoming tide..I think the waves where coming right up to the dunes, they were trying not to get trapped in their vehicles. It's a really good episode, very adventurous!
