There was also another clue that gave the investigators more questions than answers. In one of the assassination clips, you can see everyone ducking for cover, but one. And that's the Babushka Lady. The Babushka Lady was named due to a lady wearing babushka during the assassination of J.F.K. It'll keep sending you into the rabbit hole as you do more research into it.

I had to look at the JFK assassination at school once

Here's the thing: medical examination of Kennedy's skull showed that the wound at the back of the head actually was larger than in the front. However, the specific kind of round used was known to occasionally cause entry wounds that are larger than the exit wound, when specific circumstances were met. Like with JFK. Because of the way the skull is formed, the kind of fracture that was inflicted, etc, the bone was broken into large pieces near the entry wound, and their movement ripped the scalp. One even fell out, and you can see his wife reach back to pick it up off the trunk a bit later in the footage. But it is absolutely known to have been an entry wound because time and time again the shooting was reconstructed using precise geometry, and the only shots that line up correctly to cause the injuries that were inflicted not just on JFK but the Governor in the front seat would have had to come from the book depository. People can speculate all they want, but geometry can't be faked.

What I'm highlighting here is that you don't have to do the shadow measurement maneuver when there's better evidence on hand. Like the literal corpse. That's like asking Google about Michael Jordan through a forum post than talking to Mike when he's in front of you. I'm not invalidating the method. I'm questioning it's overall necessity to begin with given the presence of more primary evidence on hand. If you so much as watched a decent enough detective show you'd know the difference.
