We are going to be explaining 12 cognitive biases in this video and presenting them in a format that you can easily understand to help you make better decision in your life. Cognitive biases are flaws in logical thinking that clear the path to bad decisions, so learning about these ideas can reduce errors in your thought process, leading to a more successful life. These biases are very closely related to logical fallacies, which may help you win an argument or present information better. Your analogy for bias number two was in actual fact an outcome bias itself. It can be tough to use analogies sometimes, but if you are going to make a monetised video about a topic , you need to be acurate.
Thank you for confirming that I am in fact a very critical thinker. No question ego is the enemy and I'm constantly on guard
Don't forget to include the challenging, opposite, and Supporting biases too. 4 dimensional dynamics helps for understanding context and analytical reasoning. Great for dealing with logical fallacies as well. It's also worth noting that a lot of biases are very personality and/or mood specific too, and not all biases are universal. Which is where biases like Projection bias, Credibility bias, Cultural bias, and Illusion Of Objectivity bias end up causing issues.
I found this video really helpful because it made me understand how cognitive biases affect the way I think and make decisions without even realizing it. I found it especially interesting how confirmation bias works, since I notice I sometimes only focus on information that supports what I already believe. It made me reflect on my own thinking and realize I don’t always question my assumptions. Overall, it reminded me that I should try to think more critically and be more aware of my own biases in everyday life.
This was actually really well explained, the breakdown made the whole idea much clearer and easier to understand 👍
Really interesting content, the way this topic is explained makes it easy to follow and stay engaged 👍
Many of these can be summarized in CORRELATION DOES NOT IMPLY CAUSATION
I have some biases, but in less quantity than let's say, 3 years ago. By a lot. It's good to keep studying and engaging in intellectual work if one has got access to those resources.
Thank you so much, I’m searching for Cognitive bias information for my Master’s degree in Psychology. This video help me a lot 😊
Publication bias, which is a form of survivorship bias, is keeping us all biased.
This video came in clutch for my 2nd time reading Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

Excellent video. Various biases are explained simply. Thank you so much for sharing.
Play at 0.9x speed to really digest all the concepts here. Each of the biases covered can be an individual video in itself and are so deep.
The nature of the internet and social media algorithms greatly contributes to the prevalency of confirmation bias among modern humans
These are ancient biases, deeply rooted, and I wonder why they were needed for our early man
I like how fast you talk and how you get right to the point. I'm someone with little patience for "fluff" content, so I appreciate getting just the facts.
