You are dead on with this. Americans in particular, usually have a whole set of preconceived rights if you will, becoming indignant when they don't get the service they demand. I was fortunate in my career to travel to many places around the world, and I found the kindness you were speaking of in southern Mexico and Central America. That genuine kindness, is something that we are in dire need of in this country. I have thought about relocating many times, recently, but I don't want to leave my little piece of heaven. I own a horse ranch in the wine country of Western Oregon. I am fortunate to see some of that kindness around me. As of right now, it looks like I will be weathering the storm over here.
