Really good video. I’ve been on 17 river cruises and over 50 large ship cruises and I enjoy the river cruises so much more. I agree that the scenery and towns/villages really make the cruise. Very little of my time is spent in the cabin. I was worried you would spend to much time on the food. You started this way but then progressed to a more well rounded video. fyi..I’ll be on Explora III in December.
We are Europeans, living in Germany. Having done more than 70 high seas Cruises and 3 River Cruises, I can assure you that there are great River Cruise companies in Europe where you can have a fantastic cruise with WITHOUT the Premium VIVA prices! And they are english speaking, too.
Very nice insights, thanks. Viva (One) was also my first and thus far only river cruise - I just found it too small and boring. But food-wise it looks excellent (and also was when I cruised with them). And their price is a lot more attractive compared to all these American cruises lines. Kinda makes me want to give Viva a second shot ;)
