An animal with mammalian behaviour, bird-like bill and feet, that lays eggs like a bird but lactates like a mammal, has reptilian venom, and GLOWS IN THE DARK???? WHAT!?!?
Duckbill + Otter-like Body + Beaver-like Tail + Venomous Spurs = The Platypus 🦆🦦🦫🇦🇺✨️
6:51 the electric bill 😂 love it
9:34--Woww...Doofenshmirtz got VERY lucky every time
You know, I never actually thought about why platypus and echidnas weren't outcompeted by the marsupials, but it makes total sense why you couldn't have an aquatic marsupial! (At least not without a *lot* of evolutionary rejiggering, probably under serious environmental pressure.)
Just like the octopus animals like this captures my attention, and are very awesome animal life form
a platypus walks into a bar, orders a drink and says, "put it on my bill."

A platypus? *slips in fedora* Perry the platypus!?
Life : how many abilities do you want? Platypus : *y e s*
It's obvious that UFOs were like -"bro, check this this out I made from like... Everything" -"dude, wtf is that?" -"ah, it's like a duck, mixed with a mole, mixed with a geko, mixed with a koala.. but of everything really" -".... You're not allowed near the DNA labs anymore "
This was posted 2 years ago....I scrolled down on the thumbnails and subscribed. I'm going to watch this channel ALL DAY!
I always reckoned the platypus to be proof of there being a god, and that he has dad-humour.
8:09 That’s one of the best transitions I’ve ever seen in an informational video
Platypus Perry 😎
As an egg-laying, semi-aquatic, milk-sweating, knuckle-walking, duck-billed, electro-recepting, stomach-lacking, prehensile-tailed, venomous-footed mammal with skin that glows under UV light, the platypus is like a very out of hand spec-evo creature…*except its real*
Due to their usage in mating, can we call them Cosby spurs?
I have a question that I haven't gotten a satisfying answer to. Snakes have venom that is used in medicine. Any science study done on the Platypus venom as far as either medicine or possible cure for illness?
"As someone who grew up in America, Australia's animals seem alien to me." Me who grew up in Australia: "And you don't think skinny cows with branches on their heads seem ridiculous to us?!" 🤣
I wonder what happens when I give a platypus a fedora.
