so adding a bottle of the appropriate Lucas trans fix for this year and model of car would not be likely to help at all? When I made the mistake of having my auto trans flushed at 200,000 miles, my trans started to slip badly on the freeway. Pulled off, shut the engine off, waited a few, restarted it, and it drove okay home. Looked up on Mustang forums about this, and discovered what I had done. I was told to drain enough fluid to add one bottle of the correct Lucas Auto Trans fix for my 1999 Mustang six. It worked, 249,000 on the trans now, though I expect to rebuild it within the next year or two. From what I am seeing in your video though, no chance that would help in this case?

I own a 94 toyota tercel 160+k miles, I love it! and yeah I've had sum major repair bills but it still beats paying 30-35+k on a new one plus interest and dealing with a computer on wheels that spies on you and pulls you over of you yawn! And many of them hit about 50k miles and require major work! NO thanks! I'd rather drive a "Classic" Toyota Anyday! :) Love your video's Eddie! Both educational & Very Entertaining! It's very clear that the person that owns this vehicle votes and votes proudly. Consider how well maintained their daily transportation is in helping them vote, and that their vote counts exactly as much as yours does. Bet you couldn't convince them that the damage to the transmission was caused due to their own negligence....

Surely that didn't happen all at once. Drive it till it dies. Maybe getting trans checked at first sign of anything might have helped.

Those parts look pretty similar to the Aisin U140F that my Lexus Rx300 uses. I rebuilt my transmission a couple of years ago, I bought the parts from Amayama. Toyota improved some of the parts so double check for substitutions before buying.
