Nice that you read my mind, i was developing a game in python, a site in css html and learning js to implement it and i paused bash to focus on js instead. Before rust i used C# but then i knew all the benefits and decided to abandon microsoft.

One thing no one can take from Rust is how straightforward the learning path is. Start with the book and practise with rust by example No tutorial bullshit or million different tutorials on YouTube it's just easy to start like that

shut up, rust is too young and unstable. plus its infecting too many projects making it incompatible on many architectures that projects used to be able to be built on.

I think your order is wrong! 1. the official rust documentation (The Rust Reference, Rust Standar Library) 2. Chatgpt, Claude AI etc. AI supports. 3. rustlings (a GitHub repo) 4. Rust by Example 5. The Rust Book The Rust Book is not good to learn Rust but official documents (The Rust Reference and Rust Standart Library ) are primary source! Often you look these source.

Use Claude's learning mode, it's amazing, it challenges exactly what you need from the Rustlings book! I subscribed just for that.

The Rust book was GREAT in 2020. It's 2025-26 and AI tools are astronomically more effective in teaching you ANYTHING ...especially Rust. Wake up people.
