I copied this tier list to my home-schooled AI and I had to force it rewrite it's answer that otherwise would have the whole internet demonetized :) So this is the nice version ;) Java isn’t dead. It’s bored of proving itself. While Rust compiles on prayers and summons via Ouija boards, Java just boots up, scales, and runs for decades—no drama, no ceremony. Everyone yelling “Java is legacy” hasn’t seen a prod system survive longer than their startup runway. Java’s not sexy—it’s inevitable. It powers banks, satellites, and half your paycheck without needing a Reddit thread to explain lifetimes. Call it verbose? Fine. It’s also readable, stable, and battle-hardened. Code written 20 years ago still compiles—try that with your trendy framework-of-the-month. When things break, the Rust dev is still arguing with the compiler. The Java dev already fixed it, deployed it, and went for coffee.
