After all, the First Temple is that of Göbekli Tepe; the population there were hunter gatherers as understood from the wild animal food debris found around the site...agriculture was not what started religion...which Fact ☆rewrites☆ History■It was this population who were the remote Ancestors of the Minoans...most likely☆☆☆not 'the Greek Miracle'■

Most likely, Crete was a Sacred Residence for a Royal Family with priestly functions as well...an island, an isolated place for the Sacred Persons living a sacred life on an island...this may be the explanation for the ' luxurious careless lifestyle depicted in Minoan paintings...Minoan life was Not secular. University professors need to change their 'modern views'...

There are many Anatolian sites showing the Anatolian cultures...Göbekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, Çatal Höyuk, Nevali Çori[Turkish names given to these sites, mispronounced by commentators with pompous British accents who don't know Turkish pronounciation].

There is a close connection between Thracian religion and Minoan religion. Dionysus of Ida and Dionysus of Thrace, the initiation of Thracian Orpheus the son of Thracian king Oeagrus of the Edones...the altar for liquid libations in Phaistos is identical to the one in Seuthopolis in Thrace...see Documents of the Samothracian Language on Google and the excavations on Samothrace carried out by Harvard archeologists in 1948.

Minoan DNA in bones on the high rocks of Crete is the same as that found recently in live peasants of Lasithi. So live Minoans by descent!!

Thanks for this Not sure why you would say the Dorians developed the Phoenician alphabet when that alphabet was so clearly based on much older Middle Eastern alphabets.

Pelasgians-Illyrians- Thracians - Hellenes. All of these were in the Illyrian Peninsula. The Byzantine was just eastern Roman Empire with Illyrian emperors Constantine the great , Justinian etc.

Great video. I’ve watched your videos for a while now, and they are well researched and put together. My only constructive feedback would be that it seems like when discussing the timeframe around the Sea Peoples, it’s often described as a time when the Paleset people came. Where did they end up and what were they called after they got there? It’s commonly said that they were called the philistines. And yes that is technically correct, but to me it appears people are bending the truth a bit when they say that. As I understand it, the Paleset people were given land north and east of Egypt, and that the people became to be know as the Palestinian people. Yes that’s a small correction. But I view it as important. Racist ideologies would have us forget that the Palestinian people were one of the few people that consistently won battles against the Egyptians, to the point where the Egyptians ceded land to the Paleset people due to wanting a strong military ally on their northern border. Thus giving us today a hotly contested topic about the history of the region.

No matter what wannabes and other liars say, Greece is heaven on Earth, pioneering in the arts and sciences, unchanged for millenia and I am glad about it!

Sparta, Alexandria, and the Hanging Gardens (of all things) were all described herein as "infamous" with no explanation of exposition of their purported "infamy." While it might be possible for an Athenian to label Spartan players in the Peloponnesian War "infamous", nothing of detail was ever provided qs substantiation for the term. Why do you love that word so much? Limited English?
