It makes me so grateful to be alive and makes me realized how special we are and our existence.
I still think the scariest part isn’t how big the universe is, but how little of it we’ll probably ever understand.
Over a decade ago every documentary used the analogy that there are more stars in the universe than "grains of sand on every beach in the world." However, I noticed that with new increased estimates over the past few years that analogy has changed to be "every grain of sand on Earth." (period. including deserts etc...instead of 100 billion stars in the Milky Way and 100 billion galaxies in the observable universe, the estimate is now 200-400 billion stars in the milky way and over 1 trillion stars in the observable universe.) I am impressed that this video opens by referring to the updated estimate.....not quite as impressed as I am with the number of stars in the universe, but it's a start... 😜
Wonderful documentry, it's incredible, how special we are to be part of the universe. Nowadays many people are so busy with their games, that they have forgotten, who we really are.
Good stuff to fall asleep to. If everyone was into this stuff society would be a better place. We need to get our sh1t together and explore the universe more.

Seeing things like this makes me realize how miniscule we truly are and that we are basically meaningless in the vastness of space. What really gets me is once we die and everyone we know who knew us dies we never existed.

God, The True and Living God of Jacob, Has counted and named all these stars in the universe. HE breathed them into existence.(Isaiah 40:26). In the same way that HE breathed me into existence. I have full confidence and faith in him.

How big is the universe? Infinite, in both time and volume.
I’ve watched this twice already. It’s hard to believe most of it. Just because of the massive numbers of size and distance of everything we know. But who am I to say this is all fake. Fascinating video.
