You earned a subscribe!! First time seeing your channel. Not only did I enjoy this video, but you dropped a BB reference!! Horror movies are my favorite, with one exception. BB is the GOAT. I have watched it beginning to end 14 times. Long live Heisenberg!! Sinister is a really awesome movie. The tension was crazy. I watched it alone in the theater. The acting was great. They really did look and sound like a real family. They were relatable. You understand why he is doing this and how he feels. But you also understand why his wife lost her shit over his house selection! It was overall, really well done.
You're not going to go digging in a Dusty Attic box after you've seen a scorpion
Also one of my all time favorite movies.
obsession 2026 gave me multiple panic attacks and triggered my flight response .. so idk

No this is a VERY scary movie
It scared me when I was a kid lol
At then end, after watching all of the scary movie story line, it is ultimately a very depressing movie. Evil wins.
1:29 just thought of this : I have a super 8, and they can only be made to film while the trigger is pulled. So either it was rigged…. Or most likely, someone was recording 😮
"I'll make you famous daddy" has got to be the coldest line in the movie
What really makes this movie work is the creepy music used in the film, you feel that soundtrack. Mr. Boogy is terrifying.
Totally agree. I'm a horror fan and I have to watch it every few years. It still shocks me every time.
No movie has scared people than the exorcist. The Exorcist is the best portray of evil and no movie will ever come close to what it was.
I'd still say one of the most unsettling aspects of the movie is the uncanny soundtrack that only further tenses up the genuinely chilling scenes. The track Kaleidoscope definitively depicts Sinister in my eyes as the kind of creeping unknown you'd experience in the presence of Bughuul.
This movie is truly still scary after all this time, I think it's stood the test of time 😱
The moral of this story-an old one-is: corrective action "to little too late" from ruthless ambition will NOT prevent (Lying oneself into) catastrophe-which even love, at some point, can no longer stop because the lies, the deceit, killed the love itself. OR: Destroying love opens the door to Monsters.
my only gripe with sinister was that attic jumpscare, movie was amazing otherwise.
Maybe they used snowflakes for it, but Sinister was never the scariest movie. I'd argue its gotten very overrated.
Great video :) Keep it up :)
I remember watching this movie with my dad and my brother, I was only 10 (Mind you at the time I was 10 but I watched many horror movies at this point) at the time. After watching sinister I had really bad nightmares reoccurring every day for weeks. This left me traumatized so much I didn't watch another horror movie till I grown up as an adult.
