This movie terrified me.
Need to bring back the way of the 70s and 80s horror into this modern horror
My first horror movie ever. I did watch it on some sketchy website when I was 11 🤔 such a good one
I try to see this move 3x, always fell asleep on it. This movie is boring
Ethan Hawke did horror prior to this movie ie stir of echo ijs
I'd still say one of the most unsettling aspects of the movie is the uncanny soundtrack that only further tenses up the genuinely chilling scenes. The track Kaleidoscope definitively depicts Sinister in my eyes as the kind of creeping unknown you'd experience in the presence of Bughuul.
"I'll make you famous daddy" has got to be the coldest line in the movie
Oh, and I love the name “Deputy So and So”.
That scene of the paused video when the “thing” turns to look at him was pretty much THE most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen in a movie. SO much that it’s the ONLY scary part of this movie that stuck with me. I forgot ALL of the rest. Just seeing a photo of that thing or any part of the movie that shows his face, I…just can’t. I love watching movies and tv series several times, but I have never (and will likely never!) watch this movie again. PeriodT.
I literally fell asleep watching this several times 😭
From the very moment you said he is sacrificing his family for fame, I am thinking maybe he is the sinister in the entire movie😢😢😢
22:34 that single moment is still in my head, one of the most traumatic movie experience ever! 😱 Everytime I rewatch Sinister I'm so scared that this moment is coming 😬
I remember watching this movie with my dad and my brother, I was only 10 (Mind you at the time I was 10 but I watched many horror movies at this point) at the time. After watching sinister I had really bad nightmares reoccurring every day for weeks. This left me traumatized so much I didn't watch another horror movie till I grown up as an adult.
Deputy so and so, James Ransone, unfortunately unalived himself last year. RIP.
This movie is truly still scary after all this time, I think it's stood the test of time 😱
This is a damn good channel!
Exorcist is number 1 scariest movie ever
Be careful what you wish for! Ethan hawkes daughter told him, “DON’T WORRY DADDY, ILL MAKE YOU FAMOUS AGAIN!”😝talk about regretting your life choices when your heart itself betrays you so heinously 😢😂
Ppl have killed their parents w axes before! NOT ALL THAT UNCHARTED “LIZZIE BORDEN TOOK AN AXE, 🪓 GAVE HER MOTHER FORTY WACKS, AND WHEN HE FOUND WHAT SHE HAD DONE, SHE GAVE HER FATHER FORTY-ONE!”😂😂😂SRY NOT FUNNY
I love the way you explain and how it sounds, deserve more subs!
