All 6 Levels Of Fasting Explained: Hour by Hour

Education

Ever wondered exactly what happens inside your body when you stop eating? It’s much more than just "getting hungry." In this documentary-style breakdown, we explore the six biological stages of fasting and the incredible "switches" your body flips to heal itself. From the moment your insulin drops at the 12-hour mark to the profound immune system reboot that happens at 72 hours, we dive into the clinical research behind autophagy, ketone production, and metabolic flexibility. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned intermittent faster, understanding these stages will change how you view your health. In this video, you’ll learn: Why the "fasting clock" doesn't start when you think it does. The science of Autophagy (the internal cleanup crew). How your body protects your muscle while burning fat. The "72-hour reset" that scientists say can reboot your immune system. #IntermittentFasting #FastingStages #Autophagy #HealthScience #WeightLossJourney #Biohacking #Longevity #MetabolicHealth #HealthyLiving #ScienceExplained ⚠️ Disclaimer: This video is for educational purposes only.

I tried a fast because I was absolutely exhausted by 3pm every day and even cold brew couldn't save me. Now I'm on my fourth week in a row of around 43 hours average. I love the feeling of waking up to that mental clarity and the fog being lifted. Didn't even know it was there until I was running on ketones and it was night and day. If you're mulling it over, just commit! Your brain and body will thank you!

I can confirm that after a 72 hour fast you should eat something small and healthy not bar food or alcohol. You’ll feel like you’re dying.

Good, accurate info! More emphasis on glycogen use (14-24 h) and liver detox around the same time would have been great! 😊

This was an excellent video. I've been doing intermittent fasting for 15 days now and just completed my first 24 hour fast. At some point soon I'm going to try 48 then get to that magic 72 hour fast. I'm taking it slow and building up to that point. I have 80lbs to loose and lost a solid 6 right now.

I did a 96 hour fast out of the blue a couple of months ago and it was easier than I though. Just make sure you take electrolytes

I agree with other people's comments the cartoon images and manner in which you tell the story make the concept very easy to understand! Thank you and Great Work!
