In this episode of The Newshour, Bobby Deol joins the debate around justice, gender and victimhood amid the ongoing discussions surrounding the Twisha case. While demands for justice for Twisha continue to grow, the conversation has now expanded into a larger societal debate after Team “Bandar” argued that men can also be victims of emotional, legal and social injustice. The discussion also focuses on how Bobby Deol’s upcoming film has reignited conversations around equality, accountability and whether public discourse around justice has become gender-coded. This murder of Trisha isn't linked to " men and women equality " .... these movie makers are justvtrying to get some free publicity for their production
Justice shouldn't be Gender-based, Caste-based, Race or Religion Based It must be Innocence-based, Intention-based and evidence-based.
What is the problem in having gender neutral laws ? Whoever is criminal should be punished irrespective of gender. Why media trying to save a criminal because of her gender ?
😅 We need a web series on Sonam raghuvanshi
Twisha's case is not at all related to the issue of man's and woman's rights . It is about the dead is really suicide or murder. What is the height of the crime in her case?
Why did you call this stupid incorrigible ruchi narayan. Times now faltu bakwaas channel
BANDAR will be a SUPER SUCCESS!!! Thanks to team BANDAR for making this MOVIE
Finally somebody is talking about mens rights.. This murder case is different vs the mens right but need to be spoken
From where the Justice is being expected? From Kothas? or Supreme Kothas? Pune Porche case, NCERT's Judiciary Chapter row, Gen Z as Cockroach..., Justice Verma Cash case - there is no limit. Parliament can make laws but Judiciary is there to give of Bails as rule and Jail as exception. Had there is no Social outrage, Nirbhaya case would have taken another 100 years for Justice(forget not Nirbhaya did not get Justice). Expecting Justice from Judiciary is a nice Joke
Truth: Not only Police & Judiciary, the whole world is gender biased
498A is the shittiest law in this country.
What is the point getting such dumb panellist such as 'Lord' Deol and Ruchi Narayan. If rape are not reported then how does Ruchi know that the number is much higher? Is s that all those women come and report to her?
Have some shame, using Twisha's case to promote a movie? Media is just a circus at this point.
Thir is india mens dying everyday and no one talks about dat by day fake rape cases against men fake dowry case against men high alimony what not avg mens life most toughest in ind the rich peope wont understand that😢
There are FALSE RAPE cases too … WE NEED GENDER NEUTRAL LAWS …. PUNISH THE GUILTY- PERIOD
Official data from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) indicates that a significant number of married men die by suicide each year, with many citing family or marriage-related issues as the primary cause. Men's rights activists and legal experts actively point to the severe emotional distress caused by high-pressure family dynamics and the alleged misuse of gender-centric legal provisions
more movies as well as web series should be made on these type of topics ,,this assumption that female cannot be wrong is bullshit . law should be treated irrespective of gender . NAVIKA HAS ALREADY FORMED A BELIEF JUST LIKE ALL OTHER TV NEWS CHANNEL ANCHOR.
Without taking sides, it can be said that the court operates on arguments, not on truth. Advocacy is the art of turning truth into lies and lies into truth through arguments. The truth is never decided by the court. This is why expensive lawyers are hired to hope to win a case.
It seems the witch hunt against men is officially underway. By society's impeccable logic, only the current case matters, while the man who took his own life six months ago has been conveniently scrubbed from public memory. The universal excuse? We live in a "patriarchal society." Let’s examine the flawless logic of blaming the entire male gender for this. First, are the victim's own father and brother somehow exempt from being men? Second, and most amusingly, the main accused in this specific case is the mother-in-law. Unless we are arbitrarily changing her gender just to fit the narrative, blaming male society for a woman's alleged crime requires quite an impressive mental gymnastics routine.
What an insensitive thing to say by Navika - lagte to nahin ho. Crude and insensitive
