The INSPIRE Unplugged Dialogues is a series where we are interviewing estemeed guests on topics related to gender equality, inclusion, diversity, intersectionality, and more. For our eighth episode, we aimed to initiate a policy-oriented discussion on intersectionality, focusing on how this concept can be understood and applied beyond its theoretical foundations. Specifically, the panel seeks to explore how intersectionality operates in different regional contexts—particularly Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America—and to examine the challenges and possibilities of translating intersectional thinking into concrete public policies and institutional practices, building on insights from the INSPIRE project.
