At first I thought this was new until it started and the waves looked familiar. It's dope to see 30 for 30s on YouTube! It always amazes me how a person barely plays a sport as a kid then make it to the HOF. Being a winner in the gene pool is awesome along with hard work💪🏿

Fathers in the home are so important. That is what I learned in the first 5 minutes of this.
Remember watching this day one and how extremely important it is to be a good father to your children. Dennis kept trying to find purpose, meaning, and love that he wanted from his father in all the wrong places. Also this 30 for 30 does what alot of media doesn't: it doesn't attempt to excuse his poor decisions. It doesn't attempt to justify his inabiility to be a good father, it doesn't try to justify or rationalize the North Korean stint, and it doesn't demonize his parents in attempt to excuse him. It simply shows you how we got the best and worst of Dennis Rodman

I can 100% understand the relationship between Dennis and his mother. After my parents were divorced when I was very young, my mother chose a second husband and the living hell he brought with him over my brother and I. That was 42 years ago, I am 51 now and I still cant make peace with her over it. Deep down, I dont think I ever will. Its hard for people to understand people like us. Some emotional walls cant be taken down sadly.
Prime example of how a person can have everything in the world, and still feel so empty, hopeless, and alone inside... No one can help you but yourself.

this is a great documentary, it has only made me love Dennis Rodman even more. He made it fashionable to hustle hard on defence and not be worried about being top scorer!
