Is the Freedom 250 concert partisan? Last week, confusion about the difference between the two groups reached a fever pitchafter some of the artists who were billed as performing at Freedom 250’s Great American State Fair backed out, saying they were misled about the nature of the event. “The artists were never told about any political involvement with the event,” rapper Young MC wrote in a social media post on Wednesday. Country singer Martina McBride said she “was assured this was a nonpartisan event that was meant to celebrate ALL 50 states. Yesterday things started changing and what we were told is, in fact, not what is happening.” Freedom 250, which labels itself as a nonpartisan nonprofit, maintained that its event wasn’t meant to be political. In a statement to NBC News on Friday, Rachel Reisner, a spokesperson for the group, said: “Freedom 250 is a nonpartisan organization singularly focused on celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and bringing Americans together around this historic milestone. From the outset, our work has reflected the unifying spirit of this moment.” Caption from article by Alexandra Marquez and Gary Grumbach, NBC News.

Thanks for pointing out the difference between the original America 250 and the current Freedom 250! Why doesn't the president have a red tie?
dang that ending like the opening text crawl for star wars
That post just kept scrolling holy
when i was attempting to look into freedom250 a few months ago i was baffled to see all these fascinating events like historical reenactments and free field trips for children across the country to historically significant locations in their area like museums and national parks. i was also surprised at the amount of genuine historical societies, libraries, etc involved. even surprised me how good their website design was. then i realized i was on the america250 website and not the freedom250 website, and a LOT of things made sense right away.
Damn this time line
I liked the paper drop reveal from America to Freedom, very nice touch
What if we got rage against machine to play in right front of the white house on the 250 anniversary?
My glob I actually paused and read that tweet or whatever it’s called, and I feel like I lost brain cells holy crap. He was told to remove his name from the building and basically said “well they won’t bend to my will so close the Kennedy center for forever” like the rich spoiled brat he is.
I guess this is what a president with a -24 net approval looks like.
Vanilla Ice saying "I'm such a non political person, I don't vote and I'll play for any evil dictator just to prove how non partisan I am" Is an odd way of saying "hey guys I have absolutely no morals and don't care at all about other people as long as I get money"
Holy sundowning batman! Look at that truth social rant!
I paused to read that post out of curiosity (lots of unrelated tangents unsurprisingly) but was particularly entertained by the last lines of "because our Court System is RIGGED, no different than our Political System is RIGGED, and the people of our Country know it, and that is why I got overwhelmingly elected President, in Record Numbers". Certainly isn't making the point I think he meant to lol
Fun fact: Tricking Milli Vanilli to play for an evil dictator is the plot to an episode of Super Mario Bros 3.
I hadn't even heard of this until people started dropping out
Trump’s Truth Social posts are always just catastrophic levels of yapping nowadays, he’s sundowning
I mean Milli vanilli is so appropriate.
Someone PLEASE take that phone away from him geezus 😅
He literally admitted that the court system and political system are “RIGGED” in that rant
I don't even live in the United States, but I really enjoy watching your videos.
I couldn't do it. I couldn't finish reading that whole post. I was 4 sentences in and then noped out of it.
