moving away from home at 22 | first time living alone, adulting is hard, & trusting the process

I’m on my way to living alone and moving to another country with a completely different culture, and I wanted to watch someone who had already gone through this experience and managed to adapt to it. That’s when I found your experience. I’m truly grateful to you because you shared all the real emotions that anyone living alone goes through, with complete honesty. I first watched this video last summer before moving to college, after two years at community. Your video was impactful to me then, especially as someone who's been dreaming of moving abroad and making my own way. But rewatching it now, it hits even harder. I love it at school, but I still have the same thoughts of wondering if the choices you've made--that maybe aren't typical--are the best for me. But every time I let myself sit with it, watching videos of likeminded people, or seeing pictures of the kind of life I want to have, it reminds me that it will all be worth it. I just found your page and I cannot express how much I relate to your words. I am about to turn 22 in 2 weeks and feel how you did. The wanting a busy life in the city, but also a peaceful one in the suburbs. Feeling at peace being single, but also thinking you should be meeting someone by now. I’m living alone in a different country in a small town without knowing a single person and i can’t speak the language very well sometimes i feel so lonely and sometimes i feel good i have to do a job for 14 hours a day but here i came to support my family so it’s time for hustle well im feeling so good by watching your video ❤ Back im my home country i was a extrovert guy i have alot of friends my family but here not a single person who i know sometimes i hold back my tears to stay strong but sometimes they drop out of my eyes i became an introvert here i forget how to react on things how to be welcoming to others but at the end of the day i accept that is the life. You have to do it for your parents for yourself 😊
