Why don’t you take the room upstairs to be your bedroom, its more near to your toilet. And the room downstairs is your office sharing room. Its also convenient for your roommate. Just a suggestion 😊😊
I know it’s a lot of steps but you should use the bedroom upstairs then share the room downstairs. You will each have more privacy too. Steps, you can get used to in time.
a tip for route picking when you have luggage is searching for the route on google maps, and in the settings you could make it wheelchair friendly, so it would change the route so it doesn't have stairs or something like that
As someone who grew up in both London and California it's always hilarious hearing American and Canadian reviews of the UK... I get your perspective because I've lived in the US and it's also sooooo funny because I'm also from London. It's always the washing machine in the kitchen! 🤣
2:50 omg I saw that little alcove fireplace thing and was immediately like omg you NEED to put shelves in there and make it into a cute little bookshelf like AHHH THAT WOULD BE SOO CUTE
there is usually a switch outside the bathroom to turn the fan off but keep the light on its common in British homes to have this
You can buy closet rods that attach to the above rod and are renter friendly. They're pretty inexpensive as well.
Definitely recommend going to Dunelm, Primark, Asda George and Marks and Spencer’s (can be pricey) for some home stuff! They can be delivered to your place Can’t wait to see more move in content 🥰
I don't know why but in my subscriptions your videos for years mostly only show up when you are moving and it's so funny because it looks like you only do that😂 cool though, hope you enjoy your new place!
14:41 omg when are we gonna get the lore on the mystery man??😏🤭
I personally HATE shower curtains. They get stuck to you, make me feel claustrophobic and feel unhygienic and mouldy. We've always had a shower bath with a bath screen and never had any issues with water spilling out onto the floor 🤔
I would totally get the room upstairs to be my bedroom!
I would definitely use the upstairs room as mine closer to the bathroom. There are lots of reasonably priced solutions for not having a normal closet, bathroom access is much more important. If you get sick and need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, you'll realize how important being close to the loo will be.
I imagine lots of books stacked in the fire place in your bedroom. At least that’s what I would do ☺️
You can try getting an extending rod for your closet! They work pretty welll! You can also try making a really cozy space in the fireplace moldings on the walls like a reading nook or something like that! It would be cool if you could put an actual fireplace in one!
So at 2 am, you wake to pee and have to climb stairs? Make the room upstairs your bedroom.
SUGGESTION - sofa covering the fire place and tv on the wall between door an kitchen! Opens the room and theres space for an armcheir to the side as well
6:21 I also live in the uk and I have the half glass thing but I have a shower curtain so the water doesn't spill
Can you get tension rods for your closet? So you're not really installing anything but u can have the second rod. ❤
Just a suggestion, U should use the room upstairs for ur bedroom/closer to ur bathroom, & the use the room downstairs for livingroom/office/sharing room, more privacy for U & ur roommate.
