I know you are an exceptional mechanic 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 but at that power this thing will kick you in the teeth ,a good used one is a complete nightmare from transmission to diagnostic it will only work for short amounts of time 🙈🙈🙈🙈

I'm still a BMW fan boy, but I love this era of RS6 and RS4 , which I think I prefer as it can be a manual. I always wished I'd got one but until recent videos had no idea the parts were so ridiculously expensive, I cannot even imagine the labour costs if you can't do it yourself. You've certainly burst my paupers bubble.
One thing I do remember from my time as a tech at Audi was, when fitting lower intake manifold runners was to pull a vacuum on them, otherwise the swirlflaps would jam on the plates in the inlet port causing issues around the 4,000rpm mark. And I’ve not seen a mityvac in any of the videos to pull a vacuum on them when being installed 🤷♂️
I don’t think I’ve ever been so stressed watching a series on this channel as I have watching this. That car is an absolute pile of dog shite! My friend is a mechanic and he’s always joked that Audi actually stands for “All Unfixable Disasters Instantly”. After watching this series, I think that statement couldn’t be more accurate 😆. Much respect to Edwin and Will for sticking with it.
Few hours round trip hahaha American here, few hours one way just to get a used part is the norm for us. Great videos on the RS6 though! Had an 05 S4 and spent a ton trying to get it right and when summer hit and the AC didnt work and it was engine out to fix i threw in the towel. Good on y'all staying tough!

The Aussie in me wants to turn that Audi into a ute. Weld the back doors closed and cut the roof behind the B pillars. My Holden ute is basically a wagon with the roof cut off, the wheel base is 5 inches longer than a commodore sedan. ✌️🇦🇺
Such a shame about TPS - it used to be so convenient when they sold to the public. I had a B5 S4 back in 2012 - I was on first name terms with TPS, I feel your pain!

the "center bore" as you explained also carries the weight of the vehicle. The lugnuts/lugstuds just secure the wheel to the hub. The weight of the car rides on the lip of that center bore.
