Gidday Redriven crew, I would like to share my 2002 Holden Rodeo good old duel cab 4x4 which I bought 22 years ago with 6 months new car warranty and 18,000km the old girl now has 890,000 Km please believe me and it's still going really well. Based in the Southern Highlands NSW. Happy to share photos, she's still in overall good condition, this ute is going down with me, I just can't sell it, it gets serviced and maintenance way more than I do. Thanks for your great show. Just to prove the 4jj Holden Rodeo when serviced is a great ute. All the best. Chris Patterson
Ranger Danger is real.
Had four Falcon utes over the years. Never had any problems with rust.
Cheers Guys. Had 2 Tritons over the years. Love em.
"Do you come here often is my favourite pick up" works on every budget
got my Eco Lpi falcon im selling in sydney atm.... never had issues with Rust
Drove a Unimog in my army days, and i wont confirm or deny i had it airborne at Puckapunyal.
I like my Hilux, its not flash but gets the job done................and its not a Ranger
Have a mate with a Shark. He likes it but says he does long cross nation driving and it then uses heaps of petrol. Day to day city driving he likes because he uses electricity, but with touring he says it drinks like a sailor on shore leave.
My 2007 BF RTV has 340,000km and still goes like a new one. No rust either 😉
The Mahindra Pickup trucks are bomb-proof, they are extremely sturdy and last a lifetime. You can get endless support for parts. They are already big performers in South Africa
LOL Bakkies made into Aussie lingo. Good on ya, mate!
Gentleman what are you smoking! That tundra motor has litterally had 120,000 engines replaced in america and their on the verge of a class action over how it keeps spining number 1 main bearings! You got that wrong
10k for a falcon ute?
Traded my MN triton in last November. Had it 10 years and it never missed a beat. Picked up a new 2.2 dmax and it's already got a leaking water pump lol.
Tundra's got some problems...recalls are underway in the US. Much less unreliable than its rivals, however. It's a lot of AUD for long periods at the stealership getting remediated. Made in US Toyotas (and Kias) are a different kettle of fish when it comes to reliability.
Bought a Mercedes X250d last week for 25 grand. Full service history and in mint condition. Was looking at Navara's and the merc popped up on car sales for less money than I would have paid for a Nissan. Your review had a lot to do with my decision to purchase so thanks for doing your reviews on used cars. I love it by the way, so choice, if you have the means I highly recommend one.
28:55 There's a great business opportunity to make and sell a Ranger de-badging kit. Removes any trace of Ford and Ranger badges and any other tell tale signs like the side vents. And an add-on to that, a re-branding kit that makes it look even more pedestrian and completely ambiguous. If business is going well, you could also flog a driver reeducation, patience, and kindness course.
I almost bought a ute but an SUV (older Prado) came up and in my price range. I figured I'll keep this for a few thousand hundred kms and down the track buy a ute. But as time has passed, I wonder if I have gone through my 'ute phase' without having a ute. 🤔 So, I think my next vehicle could be a mid sized SUV. Then again, I do like the GWM Alpha 😮
Cmon we all know the Hiluxs reign supreme, especially the LN106, KZN165 and N70s amongst other models 🏆
