I saw a mechanic at a Love's, they pulled the truck front tires on ramps then use the mechanics roller like a skateboard. Open the hood like you see in the video but they landed on the roller and he pulled himself underneath.

I did that once with one foot on the pit while changing the oil on a Freightliner it pinched my toe cap and my left leg went straight down into the pit about four steps leaving me to do the splits I can laugh about it now it wasn't funny then
