You've reached the end
also, this guy doesnt understand what "elitism" means. it means that you only listen to an echo chamber of "elite" opinion, and you dismiss other observations by pointing to the person's CV....i know this guy is an elitist, and that is a bad thing.
so dumb. this guy doesnt realize that Affirmative Action hurts minorities. 90% of black people at MIT are in the bottom 10% of the class. these are black and hispanic students who would have been all-stars at less elite schools, and maybe top-of-their-class at state schools, but who end up failing out of college or going into les rigorous degrees because they coudlnt cut it at MIT....again, these people would have made phenomenal engineers at another school, but get failing grades at elite schools who lower the bar to let them in. this is what happens when you artificially increase people's eligibility based on the color of their skin. if you actually care about black people, give parents some choice in where they send their kids, by the time people are taking their SATs its too late....you cant just send someone an acceptance to MIT if they dont have the math scores to prove it.
Can’t believe this is a Harvard professor.
Oops! Have I confused Randall Kennedy with someone else?
Yes, I did! Confused him with Thomas Sowell, of all people! I can't possibly apologize enough. Is there anyway I can salvage my reputation as an ardent Leftist, Liberal, Progressive, type?
