Zimmerman did not say that. See the remastered version of that call. If we're going with what "may" have happened, then the possibilities are endless. Trayvon "may" have attacked Zimmerman. Zimmerman "may" have been latino, Trayvon "may" have been suspended from school multiple times for gang-related crimes,

I agree that he illegally pursued Martin. That has nothing to do with race. Sadly, and it truly hurts me to say this, evidence is showing that Trayvon was not the person that many have been lead to believe. We see pictures of him when he was a 12 yr old, innocent boy. Not his 17 yr old pictures with grills, gang tats, etc. Nor do we see the fact that had had been suspended from school multiple times for gang/drug activity. That's why he was there in the first place.

Actually, yes, you would be wrong for calling him out on his racism. Ask yourself if it's just ignorant bigotry on his part, as a member of a neighborhood watch, that he spots someone that basically fits a general and common description of a gangsta and reports on that, or could he simply be cautious? Have you ever considered what role modern black culture has played in Trayvon's death? And I'm not just talking about Trayvon Martin, but all of the Trayvons killed by fellow blacks.

I sincerely feel bad for his family. Zimmerman was not right to pursue Trayvon. Martin was not right to attack him (which is what the evidence is showing actually happened). The police took Zimmerman in for questioning. He should be prosecuted for following Trayvon, but, if the evidence proves that Martin attacked him (it may or may not) then he cannot be prosecuted for killing Martin in self defense.

"This kid was followed and harassed for being a black kid in a hoodie." He was followed (unlawfully) for fitting the description of a known assailant that had vandalized the area. What is your opinion on black on black violence?
