I'm black and during High School I always showed up on time and was criticized by other black students as I was seen as "acting white" simply because I would show up early. This woman is absolutely embarrassing and ridiculous.
She is as disciplined at her punctuality as she is her caloric intake.
The idea that she understands white people and white culture because she knows one white family is absurd.
I'm French, it's polite for us to arrive at parties 15min late. But, it's the opposite in Germany where you need to arrive 15min before. So when I go to someone's place in Germany, I arrive 15min early. That's called being polite and respectful of a culture/society.

I have never been invited to a dinner gathering, been told it starts at noon, and within 10 minutes we are eating. Never happens. But, if the husband's family was like that, why didn't he tell her? This was their first Thanksgiving dinner with his family. I call BS on the entire story.
So instead of apologizing for being late and understanding that going forward you should be on time, you decide to blame them? This is something out of the Twilight Zone.
I listened to a black aquaintance go on just like this recently. When she was done I said to her firmly, "I completely reject everything you just said". Stunned her and she shut up.
I wonder how she would feel if she called a plumber to repair a water leak that was flooding her home. The plumber states I’ll be there right away but doesn’t show up until much later in the day. When he arrives she complains that the water has damaged the flooring and furniture because he’s late. He then replies that timeliness is not part of the plumbers culture and she needs to go to a seminar to learn about plumbers.
We should all know at this point that “anti-racism” = antiwhiteism. That r word is just an antiwhte slur
she should practice her ideas by arriving late to airports, train stations etc and enjoy its outcomes.
Punctuality is a sign of respect...... being chronically late is a sign of disrespect. BY always being late, you are telling the other person their time isnt as valuable as yours

Showing up on time, being punctual, is an indicator of a culture of success no matter your race. Not showing up on time, consistently, is an indicator of a culture of failure, no matter your race.
