We started this food tour through the wet markets of Hanoi at 4am and it ended up being one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. Because it gets so hot in Vietnam, so much of the city’s work happens early in the morning which means the markets are at their busiest before sunrise. It was honestly eye opening seeing just how fresh all the ingredients are that feed the entire city and why there’s so little need for preservatives. The food itself was incredible and this experience gave me such a deeper appreciation for Vietnamese food culture 📍 Hanoi, Vietnam Follow for more food adventures: Beli: https://beliapp.co/lists/kaitlyneats Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kaitlynlavery TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@kaitlyneats Substack: https://substack.com/@kaitlynlavery ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/kaitlynlavery LTK: https://www.shopltk.com/explore/Kaitlynlavery Amazon Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/kaitlyneats_ #foodblogger #foodshorts #vietnamesefood #foodtour

Vietnam is the most incredible country I've ever visited. Hanoi was amazing but I think fellow new yorkers would really appreciate the magic of HCMC, I hope you're visiting there too! Have an amazing trip!
I miss mangosteen so much! It became my favorite fruit while I was living in Vietnam.
In Mexico you can also find chickens alive and freshly slaughtered in front of you for fresh meat at some markets. Terrible experience if you ask me, most people buying are used to it.
Looks official.
Truly a blessing to know exactly where your food was and where it's going and how loved it's been.
Vietnamese coffee is TOP TIER🙌🏼
Everything looks so good omg
What is the info for this
The live creatures at a wet market freak me out a little bit. I am very squeamish. Great videos!
Is the tour name or details mentioned anywhere??
Such a magical experience, like a fantasy market
Really interesting experience! I don't eat meat and I can't really stomach seeing animals treated like that so I don't think I would enjoy this but I do appreciate learning about another culture at face value
Earned a subscriber. Loved how you embraced the culture and were so respectful. Cheers
Where did you find this tour? It looks AMAZING! I wanna go to Vietnam now

Hi Kaitlyn, I don’t normally comment on videos but I genuinely love love love you and your content. I’m so glad you enjoyed Hanoi, it’s my hometown, I miss it every day 😓, but watching you enjoy and appreciate Vietnam has genuinely filled my heart with joy. Really hope you have the most amazing time!
Why is an overnight market that long? Is it to avoid the hot humid daytime?
I'm saving this video to try it. Looks healing ngl.
