im way behind in watching but am catching up now. we went to pahrump nevada to see if we can find our forever retirement dreamhouse and we nearly lost hope but we found it. its a beauty! we move july 15. i still remember you said our new years res for 2025 was to do a colab together but we didnt quiet get there. maybe, before we leave va, we can meet between somewhere. while out in pahrump, nv, “explore vegas” and his wife and child did a video with us in pahrump. that was so fun. he posted it thurs night. i put out part one of my video visit there, and will do part two in a few days.

I want to wish Cindy a very Happy Mother's Day. The Tip Top looked like a great place to eat for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. I especially liked David's hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy along with a side of onion rings, too. You definitely can't go wrong with Cindy's club sandwich either, and it looked delicious and well assembled. In fact, the whole menu was filled with items that would interest me, not to mention the desserts. I also thought that the prices were very reasonable for a great lunch, too! ❤

The weather Rooster on the roof is a Howard Johnson style..Back in the 70s Howard Johnson had great seafood in The Boston area Fried clams and Haddock 👍

Happy Mother's Day Cindy, the best mother a bed checker could ask for lol 😂 You're food looked amazing the Club sandwich sure had a good amount of meat and the steak fries sure looked on point. David's hamburger steak and potatoes had my mouth watering, the gravy set it off for me it looked thick and creamy. Of course we were all shocked to see David order onion rings not. Not a bad price for all the food you got. At about $10 a meal very good especially with the way prices have gone up. Glad you enjoyed your visit and have a fantastic week! David's Yankees started out hot but just got swept this weekend. And my Pirates are having unusual success but dropped 2 of 3 to the struggling Giants.👍🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

The politician on the cupola gave it away as a former HoJo. A Hot Shoppes (From which the Marriott conglomerate sprang) had a similar theme. But, with a dashing server with a tray of food! instead of the rooster. And, of course, there's the orange roof. I'm sure Wyndham (Which now owns the HoJo "intellectual property".) jealously guards that orange roof trademark! Those places had lots of pleasant travel memories back in the day. As for this video, definitely Team David this time. Everything he had looked good. Really good. I had to laugh at Cindy ordering the club sandwich as that's what my mother often ordered for lunch at places like this. And, this is of course Mother's Day! (Congrats Cindy!) I noticed the one refill on soda. And, I'll put in my $9.42 cents worth on that. (Two cents corrected for inflation...) At $2.95 with one free refill that's not a bad deal. Making it "unlimited" would've likely raised the price to such a level that it would be wasteful considering the few people who would likely order >one refiil. The menu offered a lot of potential at good prices. Great video of what looked like a great meal. God Bless! (I'll have to Hype it later as my ration renews tomorrow...)

Everything looks delicious in this cute diner! David's meal is one of my favorites, for sure. I have not felt up for cooking this last month because of the disaster that befell our house, but I hope to start feeling like my old cooking-loving self very soon.
