The most difficult/annoying thing with baking is when words like "quickly", "slowly", "thick", and "thin" are used, but you don't have a point of reference. Which is why similes are helpful (e.g. "drips slowly like molasses"). Visuals like this are also helpful.

The great British bake off music is so nostalgic. I remember watching the series with my parents in the Uk when I was young. I miss that.
