Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition causing involuntary movements called tics. I use my social media (TikTok, YouTube and Instagram) to advocate and raise awareness for my conditions and show what it is like living with a disability as a neurodivergent person. I am also autistic and share my sensory struggles along with my experiences with mental health disorders. I show what its like having a disability and the accommodations I have to help my daily life. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user showing my life using mobility aids and how chronic illness symptoms change from day to day! I am also a musician with a popular song called "She's Mine" available on all streaming services - I wrote, produced, mixed and mastered all my songs myself! I am also an artist and a writer. I love reading and I'm currently writing a novel and a book about my life!

I used to cry and get frustrated over how many βlost daysβ are part of my regular life. But those strong emotions just made impacted my body and mood even more. Now I try to accept the βrest daysβ, and enjoy the days I feel strong or energized.β¨
Your video is very heart warming. You did amazing, you are amazing, your progress is amazing. I could see the difference between the first and last video you showed. I love your videos btw β€β€
i really needed to hear this. i've missed over a month of karate practice because of my disabilities, and it really does feel awful, especially when it's something you love doing. thank you for this video, for reminding me that taking care of myself, my body and mind, is still progress <3
βSometimes NOT doing sth is progress.β I really feel thisβ¦ I was at the dining hall at work today with so many people and it was packed full as well. I had my over-ear headphones but still I was so overwhelmed by everything (conversations, the topics, noises, people talking, socializing, smells, lightingβ¦). When I got back to work and went to the toilet finally being alone I felt that I lost so much energy just in these 30 minutes that are supposed to be a breakβ¦ I sat on the floor for a few minutes trying to calm myself down and it was really helpful - looking after myself and βstoppingβ, βdoing nothingβ. For you reading this. Please take a break if you need it. Hydrate. Do what you need to do in order to feel betterπ«ΆπΌ
Realizing that you need help and asking for it is a foundational step. It is heartwarming when you realize how many people are ready and willing to support you
You're channel makes me so happy, thank youβ€
This lady is a great ambassador for disability awareness.
You're so amazing Zaraβ€
Iβm a dancer so I get it I once had the worst pain in my side that Iβve ever had and I couldnβt go to dance for four weeks and then when I came back I was very behind but my friends were all so supportive and Iβm sure u have friends like that too β€β€
Thank you so much for this! As a fellow chronically ill person, I really needed to hear this! π₯°
Dance and stretching have ALWAYS been my sources of discipline and self-love with my tics/disorders β€ Setting goals with your actual body, like reaching a stretch, can make you feel like you DO have control.. I still dance alone on my days off ππ₯°
Youβre so incredibly inspiring and you got this youβre doing so well π©΅π©΅π©΅
Only recently I discovered your channel. But I'm very happy about it. I suffer from hemophilia and have been struggling with depression and anxiety for many years. But seeing you and how you are doing in life gives me strength and a lot of positive energy. π I wish you a lot of joy and more better days. π₯°π
Thank you π’β€
You are so amazing! You make all of our days. You have made so much progress and youβre so strong. I love your vids so much, they keep me going even through the darkest of days, thank you. Stay strong everyone β€
I feel I can relate to you so much. I have ME and Fibromyalgia, it's so frustrating, people usually only see you when are well so many don't believe you have problems. It's also frustrating making people believe you, benefits people especially. There is nothing worse than others thinking you are faking things, you just want them to try one day in your body! Well done for putting your life out there to the world xx
Thank you for sharing. I needed to hear this today You're inspirational. I don't have a disability but I am chronic fatique. Sometimes it makes that makes sad. I do miss out on a lot of things people my age can do because I don't have the energy. You make me look at it differently
Really felt this thank you Zara
You made my day I have been struggling at stuff
The tears in your eyes when you were talking about it broke my heart
