I appreciate the point this video is making. There are absolutely people around that won’t give unless something is in it for them, whether it’s praise, the person feeling obligated to return the favor or a reputation of being generous. Wish I had known this sooner!!! And I used to think I was one of those givers that didn’t expect anything in return. And there are absolutely opportunities to give without the receiver being able to give anything back such as giving anonymously. However, God always sees and eventually rewards us. Therefore I do believe we always always receive something back. Maybe just not from the same person, and not always immediately.
