I bought a broken Nintendo Switch 2 on eBay for only $250. The seller said it doesn't power on but I'm hoping it something that's not too complicated to fix so I can get it fully working again. ►Tools & Parts I Use (paid link): https://www.amazon.com/shop/tronicsfix ►TronicsFix Game Console Repair Forum: https://www.tronicsfixforum.com/ 🎵 Like the Music? Hi Steve, I really want to start learning how to repair my own electronics. What tools do you recommend for soldering or testers. I have cheap solder tool, but I don't know the tin took a long time to melt and doesn't stick to the board. I think I will go for more a high end ones that shows temperature? Do you have any things to look for? Specific brand maybe?
Wow! That’s a big effort! Thanks for showing it’s possible. And thanks for continuing what is probably the perfect amount of running bit from video to video! 😂❤
That was a serious amount of screws to take out lmao
how do you know which should be grounded and which were supposed to be low impedence so they appear as if shorted? I really want to get into electronic repair. So far all I know is caps are suspect. Discoloration are suspect.
I was trying to get a board unplugged on a snap on cordless fan the connectors have like brown glue or expoxy on them how can I get that off where I can unplug them ?
What would cause that single piece to not work? Overheating?
Nice job it's alive!
This guy makes me want to break someone's Switch 2 so I can open it and try to itself myself with a 10% repair rate lezzz goooooo

Hello, you still repair retro console? I have a New 3ds xl to repair and I didn't find any repair shop to fix it . Thank you
Love this video! What a grit fix. Best wishes from Virginia. ❤️🙏🏻
Psshhhh light work for this guy.
Where can I buy the things you repaired?
Yes yes yes... I found you again 😂😂😂... Now i can binge watch while eating 😂😂😂
Good fix, thanks for sharing your work process - it is very motivating.
Was hoping for a part call-out - seems like they are going to be a common failure point. Guessing they may be heat sensitive so extra effort might be needed when extracting from a donor board.
how did he know where to inject voltage?
