I got banned from a theater for telling people to shut up
My wife and I went to the movies last night. Packed theater. Fine.

A group of loud teenagers came in after the movie had already started, sat behind us, kicked my seat, and talked loudly the entire time. Jokes. Screaming. Laughing. I couldn’t hear half the film.
I finally said “shhh.” Others did too. They ignored it.
Eventually I turned around and said, “Can you please be quiet? You’ve been talking through the whole movie.”
They told me to shut up.
They got an employee. Lied. Said I was disruptive. My wife and I were escorted out. No refund. And I was banned from the theater entirely.
I hate teenagers in movies. I hate theaters that reward bad behavior. And I hate that now I have to drive an hour just to watch a film because someone couldn’t sit quietly for two hours.
