Christmas feels fake as hell
Christmas feels like a disturbing performance of forced happiness.

Most people at gatherings clearly don’t want to be there. Conversations are awkward filler. The people enjoying it are mostly just drinking. And it feels less like tradition and more like obligation fueled by marketing.
It feels like we’re celebrating because we’re told to. Spending money we don’t have on things people don’t need to maintain an illusion of joy.
I hate it. It doesn’t feel warm. It feels staged.
