Confession
Ovulation is psychological warfare when you’re single in your 30s

I always heard women hit their sexual peak later in life, but nobody warned me it would feel like this.

Ovulation hits and suddenly my body is acting like it has zero standards. Men I’m not even attracted to start looking like candy. It’s honestly alarming. My brain knows better, but my hormones are screaming like they’ve been locked in a room with no supervision.

I don’t want to sleep with just anyone because I’m horny. I want desire with context, connection, intention. But wow is it frustrating to have your body actively sabotaging your dignity for a week every month.

Also, sincere apologies to every man I called a “horny dog” when I was younger. I get it now. I truly get it. 😭
