It looks like the force of a lot of these are mostly just pulling the tie out of the lock, so the uncut one makes a lot of sense being the strongest
The only reason it fails it because there’s no more zip-tie to hold onto to. Do it again but leave the same about of extra length each time….and you’ll see they’re all the same as what you use to cut means NOTHING about strength.

it fails because it physically has to go out a notch. If you clipped off all the notches, there's nothing to catch on. Tucking it in leaves the most number of notches. Do all your tests again, but a 1/8th to a 1/4 in out. Also smashing it in when you melted it probably pushed the tab is uses to lock into the notch into a weird position and made it fail so quickly.
measuring a weight of car to see how fast it going would be a more accurate measurement than whatever you do

Claims he’s testing strength but he’s just figuring out how zip tie length works. The reason the folded over goes the full length is because it has room to pull on where the others have short ends that get pulled through.

just use flush cuts. if you need more strength, you need something stronger than a ziptie.
Its not about how much teeth does it have or not, its about how hard do you pull it. If its lose it will go down more and if you pull it tight it will snap sooner. The reason why twisting it looks like its worst its because it got so tight that it was already at breaking point.
A frew things. The zipties are what gives ut strength, Not the cut method. Using flush cutters while tentioning the ziptie is supreme. It wil actually sink in a tiiiny bit and give a concave finish. Allso there are ziptie «guns» made for this. Protip, need stronger ziptie? Duble loop it, the strength is the tear force*number of lengths, so one loop is 2, but two loops is 4. Ia 2x strength without using more zipties (provided, the gie is long enough for two rounds)
