Prayers for those who help such people . It must be walking on egg shells , quite debiliating how they must be feeling keeping themselves emotionally regulated .
Incredible job the guards and staff do. Bless them. Pau.❤
The mental hospital is changing
As a retired RN I could not put myself in this type of environment. It’s very stressful, especially with so many homeless people out there who come in to the hospital because they have nowhere else to go.
Lovely voice of narrator!!
Very Gut Jop Fantastic Thanks Soo much Majkel 🤗👍😀🙈💐
Well done boys nd girls keep that security up you are looking after our NHS ❤
Doctors, nurses, officers, AND TEACHERS deal with violence on the job. Don’t forget the teachers!
Often it’s the medications that make patients violent. It has already happened to me — I once took a medication that made me completely lose control. Some medications are worse than hard drugs. A patient who becomes violent is not necessarily at fault; the real cause can be the medications.
It's so sad to see this! These nurses don't get paid enough for dealing with some of these! It's embarrassing to see the disrespect hit an all time low!
when i was 17 and in hospital a nurse tried to put me in an unsafe environment with my disabilities (autism, ptsd) and infantilised me. I refused to leave the safe environment, calmly, and she tried to grab me. I blocked her without touching her (arm to the side to stop her from walking to my side, I was in a wheelchair) and she called security. Security were SO PISSED with her. they were so sympathetic to me and berated her. the security of the NHS doesn't just protect staff from patients. they protect patients from staff.
Being older I remember the respect and patience from one and all in the olden days
Aww I would not believe that I was bad like this take tabs chat I’m so sorry to hear this and I’m going to pray 🙏🏼 xxxxx ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is so well created as a resource and insight into a real and human-centric approach to people struggling with serious mental health challenges. The humanity and dignity and professionalism blew me away. This simply MUST be the future to terms of a best in class approach I ever ever seen. Outstanding documentary. It makes me so proud to be a British citizen. To observe the professional and humanistic and trauma centric approach I have ever seen blew me. away. The entire team are shown displaying what I would suggest must be the minimal standard of care and gold standard of exceptional care towards mental illness. The Dutch system is appalling in comparison to this. These people are often the most vulnerable in society. The whole approach to care and security is so compassionate and with the least physical and mental harm on usually already traumatised people. People with addiction images struggling with life, people who are undergoing situational crisis. Homelessness, trauma, abuse, neglect. Poverty, addiction, confusion combined with the epidemic usage of mind altering antipsychotics (neuroleptics) are forced medicated against their will. What I think is being missed here is WHY these people are going to actual proper hospitals. The minimal use of forced medication indicated and the professionalism and decency displayed are mind blowing. If the same approach were adopted and access given to all people struggling with mental health I think the psychiatrists and all the other cottage industry involved in involuntary mental healthcare. In the Netherlands I have observed the most degrading and revolting approach to government owned and state psychiatrists, nurse doctors and alleged security (thugs in tracksuits) Police are used in Dutch Mental health clinics such as GGZIngeest and Arkin owned subsidiaries such as TOA, SPA, SPOED, Psychiatie, GGZIngeest Amsterdam New Valerius (and Zuiderpoort the overflow from the Amsterdam region and picks up the pieces often after TOA, GGZIngeest staff have traumatised them for life. People are trying to kill themselves 22 times to escape the Mental health prison. They hope for care and compassion as shown in this wonderful documentary. There is no access to therapy for 12 months often. Why? The 52%. tax most people pay AND the 200 euros medical healthcare mandatory private healthcare gets to abuse people. Bill corrupt insurers 10,000 Euros a month per prison cell. Where you have mixed sex spaces with 21 dangerous convicted prisoners often, homeless, Surinese, Morrocans, refugees with PTSD. Unfortunately this is a lucrative approach to the housing shortage in Amsterdam whilst literally shortening the lives of people who need care like this. I was very impressed with this and encouraged. If you would cover the Dutch system perhaps even just following British, and non "white 'Dutch peoples experiences there would be a marked contrast. If you look further and follow the money back to TEVA. Connections to Janssen and a lesser known Scandinavian pharmaceutical Organisations. You will find huge investments in the Dutch health focus of developing longer acting depots. Injectable antipsychotics used frequently and as forced preference of most clinics/prisons in both Organisations mentioned. Women are being repeatedly sexually and physically assaulted by men in the Dutch Mental Health psych wards State arm of psychiatry or Dr Deaths. The patients/prisoners daily suggest killing the psychiatrists and staff. That however is usually due to the staff misusing power. When you combine cruelty, laziness, negligence with no controls and oversight committees. Where your 'second opinion". Is a lie. They are the same Organisation, Arkin and all of itás Corporate sub entities and GGZIngeest merged. The number of locked wards in The Netherlands is on the rise, Geert Wilders already convicted of hate speech may likely be elected by an increasing racist Dutch nation. Once known for tolerance, this is a veneer, what lies beneath the facade is awful, colonies (still Aruba, Bonaire, Curaco and Suriname. There are a few if interested, It's interesting how these facilities are allowed to review their own reviews from the internet it seems. GGZIngeest Zuiderpoort I believe is still available should anyone be interested in the utter best of class being offered freely by the UK. Versus the defrauding, inhumane indecent practices taking place daily in The Netherlands. When requesting the support of OpenAI Chatgbp (corporate version) I had to talk to something not human to start to even speak about my experiences nearly 2 years ago. I am still on a trauma waitlist with acute PTSD- a dual diagnosis of autism and ADHD. My doctor and I had this covered until 1 fateful day someone made a phone call to rthe Dutch crisis team. A relative who told lies as part of ongoing sustained abuse I had distanced myself from. The Dutch I felt "kidnapped me "did not explain why", force medicated me nearly to death. Used iso
We need Mental Hospital
I suffer from mental/anxiety/depression illness. After watching this documentary It has scared me to go to the hospital. If I have an episode, being at the hospital will make me feel worse if i am feeling desperate or suicidle. Unless you self harm or kick off with security, you have a waiting time of approximately 12 hours to be examined. This is not good for persons dealing with a mental health episode to have to endure this sort of waiting time for treatment. It makes the patient unwell and act out of character. It's sad to see this going on in the UK. I feel for people suffering from mental health issues. It makes me act out of character, and i don't realise what I am doing or saying when I have a bad turn. I pray to the almighty that anyone reading this and suffering my prayers reach you in your time of suffering. May the almighty protect the vulnerable when you are suffering ❤ and love to the security and medical teams that have to go through this abuse from problem patients who don't seem like they want help but are their to make the medical teams work even harder ❤ A prayer to my family and friends who don't speak to me much because of my bad words to them when I had a bad turn I love you all god bless you all. ❤
I feel bad for the mental health patients because I've been through it more than a dozen times. It's sad . 😢
I have CPTSD due to severe and persistent abuse from both parents, so if I were a patient hearing any of this I would end up very distressed, I wouldn't go off at staff though, as I would respond to kind, soothing reassurance. I appreciate the staff at my local, in NZ,
This so bad I feel for the man that was blown up by that womans brothers😂
A big thanks to all the security personnel and also the staff in the hospitals. The government of a lot of countries are closing down or reduce the mental illness departments and the result you see at the urgency departments in the hospitals. The people with a mental illness don't get the right treatments and that is a shame. I was a nurse of 40 years and see a lot but this kind of aggressive is going of the charts and get bigger and bigger. For all I wish you the best.
