It’s always amazing to see how gentle and expressive gorillas really are—there’s such depth in their eyes, and when you watch the babies play, it’s impossible not to feel a kind of joy that goes straight to the heart.

The way this documentary dives into the heart of the Congo and imagines the lair of King Kong makes you feel the wild, untamed spirit of that landscape and how much mystery still lives in Earth’s oldest forests.
