Best thing about cave diving is you actually don’t have to do it bro
Every cave diving tragedy is either “they were extremely experienced” or “they were shirtless and wearing sandals.”
The good news is we will never run out of cave diving tragedy videos. The bad news is we will never run out of cave diving tragedy videos.
Cave divers with a loving wife and family when they discover a 1 millimeter wide crack in the floor called Satan’s Prostate with a 0% chance of survival: Edit: Here is an accordingly edit to please that one person
My friend Hal and I went just caving Not Cave Diving. We got lost for almost 7 hours deep inside. I had 4 Flashlights with new Batteries in each. Hal had 3. When we finally found our way back out i was down to my last flashlight and it was nearly dead. When we got out there was 20 guys from the county cave rescue unit getting ready to come find us. I have not and will never go inside a cave again.
im sorry, i have a great deal of respect for those who try to recover bodies....but they really shouldn't, its not worth risking more lives, like the rescue team member who almost got stuck under a collapsing rock.
I'm so glad I have no sense of adventure 😭😭😭 Just listening to these is making me feel claustrophobic and anxious Rest peacefully to those whose lives were lost
It's worth the risk because sometimes you can see rock
Its not fair that other humans risk their lives to try and rescue humans that purposely do risky behavior
I’m claustrophobic, have a fear of drowning, and can’t swim. I really shouldn’t be watching this lol.
I love hiking, snorkeling, skydiving but absolutely have no desire to explore caves underwater or not. If I cant see the sky above me I don't go. To many stories, to many horrors.
I'm OSHA Certified for occupational health and safety. When dealing with "Crush Syndrome" one of the absolute Most Important Things is to make sure the person affected stays vertical for around an hr and when removing the harness or pressure from the harness, you have to be slow and allow circulation to gradually be allowed. That give the body time to filter out the toxins at a more manageable pace. In my training it was explained to us repeatedly and tested thoroughly to make positively Sure that we all understand since our training actually made us responsible for saving lives in this situation. If we failed to stop an individual in this situation from being laid down or slowly reintroducing circulation then we would be held legally accountable for the death of said individual. I worked industrial electrical, staying in a harness for 10hrs a day 6 days a week for multiple yrs, until a spine break took away my ability to climb safely or to be able to make it through a fall without permanently paralyzing me in the process.
You know when I hear about the recovery attempts… I mean yes if my loved ones passed away I would like to have their body, but I also wouldn’t want the guilt of somebody going to retrieve their body and lose their life themselves. It should be known in the cave diving world that if you go down there and you lose your life, you stay down. Because it’s too risky to go down there and try to retrieve your body. Because even with all the equipment and all the experience, there’s still grave danger going down there
Disgusting that troubled teens are already treated like animals in youth wilderness “rehab” programs, but sending them into an unstable cave is just plain murder
You can have as many successful dives as you want, you only get 1 failure
Good thing I'm fat, so I couldn't even attempt cave diving, even if I wanted to. 👍 (And I'm also very claustrophobic, so that prevents me from going there, too.)
Authorities: * try to seal off dangerous, deadly cave to protect people * Divers: F*** you--you're not my dad! * breaks into cave * It's like these people WANT to die.
Nothing down there is worth dying for
Hanging in a harness is called death on a rope by cavers. My climbing instructor tried to get me into caving, but I gave that a solid NOPE.
25:15 Ima be honest, if divers go in despite all those warnings and even breaking into it, fine. Let them. But don't expect a rescue operation if you get stuck. You wanna go down there so bad? Go for it. But don't expect others to put themselves in harms way just to rescue your stupid butt.
