People who appreciate and love nature. Wonderful..
I love that the Ivory Billed Woodpecker has returned!
What a great and important compilation of 'bird' stories.
No one believed me but I saw two of these out in the county on Lincoln County Kemtucky, in 1986. They served huge! The were 15 feet from my window .
a documentary dedicated to dee reynolds
I am calling BS on it being everybody's fault. It is big companies and corrupt governments! Make companies make products that last. No permanent labels, no small lids people can reuse. And stop making appliances that fail within a year. It's outrageous that these co aren't being massively traced for the garbage they produce.
Wow... the eagle hunters are so elegant and magestic... There is a deep human longing to relate to animals...
My husband and I have lived in the same house for 51 years. We are outdoor people. We live extremely close to the woods. Deer come into the plan and I also feed the birds. I never heard of or saw a pileated woodpecker until recently, within five years, one pileated woodpecker was eating my bird suit. I rarely see it but I also never saw it for 45 years and believe me, I am a birdwatcher.. So I believe the ivory billed woodpecker exists. I ran into a person shopping at walmart that lives fairly close to me but in a more wooded area. She frequently has pileated woodpeckers consistently at her house.
I caught a glimpse of most likely a very large pileated woodpecker in the state park in my town. It was on the ground and took off after hearing me, behind trees/bushes, it was very quick but I’ve never seen such a big woodpecker. I only live maybe 1.5 miles from the park, like to think with all my feeders it may show up. What an incredible job that must be on those island. 😊
I Love this bird!
How cool if that young man used that energy for a REAL cause
My father was stationed on Midway in the mid 1950s. Apparently the sailors were tasked to destroy the Albatross bird eggs. 😔 Very sad what we are doing to this planet. Shouldn't we be spending money to repair it before a pipe dream of getting to another planet that we will destroy also?
Our Country is on the verge of collapse and you're doing a piece on birds. Oh .. That's right... CBS collapsed to pressure from the regime.
The story about the bird on Midway Atoll was the sadest thing I've ever seen. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Beautiful!,,,
Oh lala!!! this bird!! They are hundred of them in the forest behind my house here in West Africa. We call them here in Bambalang mikwateuh (meaning wood picker) during the day their picking is so synchronized that it is a music for us.
Lovely nature documentary. But. Meanwhile 60 minutes Australia drops a real story
I think it defeats the purpose for “birds aren’t real” what is happening to the younger generation?! You should fight lies with truth not lies with lies… “you’ve been lying to us so we’re going to lie to you back” you have become a laughingstock and exactly the people you don’t like. It sounds crazy!🤦♂️ It is funny in ways and should become a comedy skit but to see that people are living in this reality and contributing to it. It sounds crazy! I think there’s better things to fight for.
Leave it to humans to F things up.
Awesome interview
